Our guide will pick you up from your own booked hotel in downtown area, and show you the highlights in the city. The first stop will be the exquisite Reed Flute Cave. The stalactites, stalagmites, stone curtains and flowers are all lifelike and with various stories, it is honored as the Palace of the Nature Art. And then visit the Seven Star Park, the Fubo Hill and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Fubo Hill consists of several mountain gardens and it is the epitome of the landscape of the city. Transfer you back to your hotel or to the city center upon your request after the sightseeing ends.

 GL04-02:  One Day Li River Cruise Tour

The scenic spots along Li River are considered as the highlights in Guilin, and it would be a pity for not visiting there if you have ever been there, and the best relaxing way is to take a cruise. The excursion today begins after our guide picks you up from your hotel lobby in the morning. And then we will drive you to Zhujiang dock to board one of the best cruises on the Li River. Our guide will escort you and give you introductions on the different sites along the way. Once you were there, you could know what it means by “picturesque”! Lunch will be provided on the cruise and its quality may not meet your expectation, so it is better to have big breakfast in your hotel. The cruise will arrive at Yangshuo after about four hours' sailing. Then a trip to the local villages will be arranged for you to experience deeper rural scenery. After that, you may wander around the famous West Street for some souvenirs before being transferred back to Guilin.

Longji Terrace Fields, Longsheng

 GL04-03:  One Day Excursion to Longji Terrace Field

We will pick you up from your hotel lobby punctually at the time that we agree to in advance, and drive for about 103 kilometers to Longsheng directly to visit the Longji Terrace Fields. Upon arrival at the foot of the mountain, you will climb steps to the best observation point on the hill side. From afar, the graceful curve of the terrace just like ribbons crosses or parallels with each other, winding to the sky. After that, we will show you around the local Zhuang village, the minority dance show in Yao Village and the Shelter Bridge. After many years of vicissitudes, the local minority people still keep their traditional way of life and cultivation, and some of them do not like to be pictured. Transfer back to Guilin.

 GL04-04:  One Day Exploration to Daxu Old Town and Yaoshan Tea Plantation

In the morning, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at the appointed time, and then take you to visit Daxu Old Town, which is 18 kilometers southeast of Guilin City. Having a history of about 1500 years, the town deserves your visit for its ancient flagstone street, bridge and old houses. Here, you will find many time-honored handcraft workshops like bamboo weaving, straw sandals shops, traditional funeral shops, antique clinic, barbershop and so on. Along the street, there are aged people reading books, drinking tea or gathering to play cards to enjoy their leisure life. The ancient town used to be a small economic center with water transportation being extended to all direction. Now when you are walking through the town, the peaceful life here can still bring you back to the time of thousands years ago. After lunch, you will continue to visit Yaoshan Tea Plantation. Tea plays an important role in Chinese people's life. This afternoon, you will have a unique experience to pick tea-leaf by yourself and also enjoy the whole process of making tea. After that, we will transfer you back to your hotel to end the wonderful trip today.

 GL04-05:  One Day Exploration to the Crown Cave and Daxu Old Town

Daxu Old Town

Today's arrangement will lead you to the Crown Cave, a wonderland of stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations in different shapes fitted with the sound control system and shinning under colorful neon lights. It possesses two Guinness World Records - the longest sightseeing slide and the top transportation of caves and is complimented as the pearl of the Li River, we will arrange round way slide for you when you visit this. After going out of the cave, you will find the rural scenery is really fascinating, small hills, water and the fields share the same color. Lunch will be a farmer-house meal served at the ancient Daxu Old Town, where you can see lots of the old houses with hundreds of years' history. After lunch, you will visit the Gudong Waterfall. It is the only available ecological waterfall group formed by underground springs in China. There are two ways to visit this site, you may choose your preferred way to experience this natural oxygen bar and tropical jungle. One is to travel by land and the other way is to climb up along the waterfall to feel the unusual passion. You will get back to Guilin at about 17:00 and today's exploration comes to an end.

 GL04-06:  One Day Tour to Huangyao Old Town in Hezhou

A leisure afternoon in Huangyao Ancient Town

Our guide and driver will pick you up at the appointed time and transfer you to visit the poetry habitat home - Huangyao Old Town. Located in the northeast of Hezhou, 200 kilometers away from Guilin, the town is distinguished for its 1000-year-old history and untouched environment. After the numerous ages passed, the local people in Huangyao still keep their traditional way to live. You will find the people, the pets, the trees, the green bricks and even the whole village all live peacefully together and are full of sense of the native culture. If you are near a stream, you may hear the cheerful gossip and laughing from the women who are busy washing the clothes. Huangyao is regarded as one of the most valuable ancient towns for sightseeing in China, and one of the 50 best places that are worth going for foreigners.

Huangyao, a beautiful and magic land, was built in shape of the Eight Diagrams. The buildings are in the Lingnan architecture style, with a perfect integration between human and nature. You can take in the charm of the unique architecture in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The sites include the site of the Provincial Union of Guangxi Province, which is the important protection unit of cultural relic of the province. And also you can visit the ancient stage, Baozhu Temple, the Carp Street and the top flagstone Street in Lingnan area. The visit needs about two or three hours and lunch will be the local flavor. Afterwards, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

The itinerary can start and end either in Guilin or Yangshuo. The transfer may need 2.5 hours from Guilin for a single way; while needs about 2 hours from Yangshuo.
